With all the resorts, the question to ask yourself is do you want the convenience of all-inclusive or do you want to explore Mexico a bit more and opt for non-inclusive? There are obviously pros and cons to both and in the end it comes down to personal choice, if you are planning on Mexico becoming a regular vacation destination, then you might want to try both and see which one you prefer.

Cozumel

This is an island boasting fabulous diving, snorkelling and a variety of natural beaches.

Ranked according to traveller reviews, The Explorean Cozumel comes in at #1 and the Villas Las Anclas is at #2.

Los Cabos

Here we have Mexico’s fastest growing resort, where you can find empty beaches, a relaxed nightlife and some chilled out fun.

The best bang for your buck is Hotel el Ganzo or the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos.

Puerto Vallarta

This area boasts hundreds of nightclubs, restaurants, great beaches and an old colonial town with plenty of excellent shopping.

You might be looking for a cheap deal here, two low price options could be Hotel Belmar and Azteca Hotel.
