My Latest Under Armour Shopping Spree

So here is what I bought recently on UnderArmour.com.  Be sure to click that link not to visit their website, but to check out my entire brand review where I talk about everything that I have bought there.  There are also some blurbs from friends of mine up North who have experienced some of the cold weather gear that I don’t have to use down here in Florida, fortunately.

So here is what I just bought.  It’s a mix of stuff for me (the shirt obviously) and my girlfriend.  She loves the pants, so I always make sure she has the newest stuff they make.

 

I still haven’t bought any of the Steph Curry UA gear I talked about earlier this year.  It looks pretty cool.  I noticed they had a new shirt that had to be inspired by Curry. I had a graphic that insinuated “raining threes.”  That’s on my wish list.

Other than shopping online, August is shaping up to be a busy month.  Work is kicking my ass, as many people are gearing up for the fall and booking their advertising and hiring me for SEO services as well as my affiliate marketing mentoring program.  I’m going to be doing some traveling as well, which is something I love to do.  I’m slated to meet up with some business contacts in Costa Rica, which if you hadn’t read this entry, is a great place to have a bachelor party!  Really, it is.  There are strip clubs, bars, casinos, sports books.  Need I say more?  Oh, and it’s set among a posh setting.  Pretty slick, and pretty affordable too.   Las Vegas is so played out and expensive for bachelor parties, although I had one there too!

Speaking of Las Vegas, I am most likely heading there in August to wrap up Summer right before my son makes his way back to school on August 22nd.

So, August is going to be a pretty busy month. I’ll post a review of the shirt I bought above in the UA review page.  I’ll also do my best to update you on any cool stuff that happens during my traveling this month. It’s going to be a grind, but hey, that’s what I like – pressure.

Under Armour Drops 500 New Items

Wow, just in time for me to get in shape, which is a recurring theme this year, lol.

They are also having a sale on certain items.  I saw items up to 30% off.  I’m definitely going to be taking advantage of this and buying a lot of goods for the upcoming Fall Season.  If you don’t know my love for Under Armour brand of clothing and apparel, I urge you to read my UA clothing review.  I also have big coupons in there that will get you free shipping and much, much more.

I shop this brand, even over Nike.  I loved Nike Dri Fit but never really found it comparable once Under Armour launched. In my book, they took center stage and really did the most for me.

Just an update on my New Years Resolutions, for what it’s worth.

I’m down 11-14 pounds, depending on when I weigh in.  Typically I indulge during the weekends, like most people out there. I work hard, and I play hard.  I like to golf, which is why I secured a nice partnership with Greg Norman and have some great shirts that I personally review if you hit that link.   I’m really taking the gym more seriously, and incorporating more weight training than cardio these days, and I’m seeing a nice effect in my body composition.  You see, I thought cardio alone would help me lose weight, but it’s a balance between diet, lifting weights, and doing cardio.  The cardio alone won’t do it or you’ll get “skinny fat,” as people say.  I definitely don’t want to be “skinny fat” and will do about anything to make sure that I can look good and more importantly, feel good.  Feeling good is the utmost important thing about living, because without energy, what do we have?  We are tired, groggy, and worthless if we don’t have energy.

So far, so good.  At the halfway point of this year I’m on a nice trend.  I need to be more cognizant of the blog and updating things more frequently, but that will come.  I have a lot of new initiatives and those take up time.  We’re still getting revved up here, and we’re about to turn one year old!  That’s a big thing and I’m looking forward to having this site for a very long time.

Odell Beckham Dating Khloe Kardashian?

I usually don’t react to celebrity dating news, but I really have enjoyed watching this guy play football for the New York Giants.

Odell Beckham is most well known for his amazing one hand catches, specifically one that seemed to be virtually impossible to pull down.  Now, he may be the latest “victim” of that horrible excuse for Hollywood, the Kardashian family.

Will Khloe Kardashian Ruin Odell Beckham’s Career?

I sure hope not.  This is perhaps the most gifted wide receiver since the Vikings took a shot on a well known, yet troubled receiver named Randy Moss.  Moss happens to be my favorite football player of all time, and as a Vikings fan, the days of Cunningham to Moss and Carter, and then Culpepper to Moss, rank up there with my all time favorite days to tune in on any given Sunday.  I could literally tune in, watch the Vikings put up 40+ points, and celebrate by lighting up a cigar.  (Currently I buy cigars at Famous-Smoke.com.)

Beckham has the same electrifying talent that Randy Moss had, yet now he’s truly gone Hollywood if he’s indeed dating Khloe Kardashian.

Odell, RUN. 

I repeat, RUN.

Let’s look at what’s happened with people who have fallen into this trap and dated the sexy starlets that Hollywood can’t get enough of.

I’m sure I’ll miss out on MANY of the men this family has ruined, but I’m going to rip off some the ones that I remember from recent memory.

There is fellow Minnesotan Kris Humphries, whose one month (or whatever it was – it was short) marriage to Kim Kardashian was the world’s most covered event at the time.  While Kris seems to have moved on and is out of the spotlight (and still making millions – good for you Hump), it’s not forgotten and he’s not a Star player.  Certainly, he had to get some ridicule for that short stint of being in the media non-stop and in the Kardashian circus.

Next, you have Scott Disick, who is the Father of Kourtney’s boys.  This guy has been in and out of rehab about as much as any rock star I’ve followed.  This poor guy has had to sit through countless Kardashian dinner’s and get ribbed by even Bruce – err – Caitlyn Jenner.  I mean, how low can you possibly go?  I always liked Scott because he’s somewhat of a rebel and I feel for him.  He lost his parents to different causes in a very short span.  The guy has gone through a lot, but perhaps nothing more stressful than dealing with the Kardashian circus on a daily basis.

James Harden dated Khloe last year and led the Houston Rockets in scoring and was an MVP candidate before Stephan Curry got hot and took it from him.  Fast forward a year and while still dating Khloe, his team failed miserably and is pretty much dismantling all of it’s pieces.  Harden is far from the player he was a year ago and if I had to guess, it’s all because of Khloe!

James, I’m still cheering for you. I love the beard and the swagger you possess. Please defy odds and come back to be the player you were before.

Lastly, and probably most infamously, we have Lamar Odom.  This poor man, an ex Miami Heat and Los Angeles Laker star player, was literally driven to the limits of drug abuse.  Married to Khloe, he was found clinging to life after an experience at a Nevada brothel.  This was all while going through a divorce with Khloe, who briefly table the divorce in order to care for Lamar.

All in all, I can’t find a happy ending here.  I’m trying, Odell, but I can’t find one.  If you truly want to be a Hall of Fame caliber player and continue the amazing pace you are on, stay far away from this family.

Here’s to hoping the reported hook-up (thanks TMZ) was just that, and nothing long term.  Otherwise, he may be perusing my reviews of survival gear.  Let’s hope not!

Why can’t stars be more chill and relaxed with their women?
