I finally got around to trying FlavorGod seasonings, and I must admit, this is a serious game changer. As long time readers know, I use my outdoor kitchen for entertaining quite often, and the sheer amount of animal meat I cook can be quite an alarming figure! Today I share with you my FlavorGod review, where I delve into my very first, but certainly not last, order of these amazing seasonings.
What is FlavorGod?
In short, it’s the most disruptive brand that’s happened to flavoring your food since Old Bay Seasoning.
Normally, unless I’m buying locally, I get my high end cuts at either Snake River Farms, or Western Grassfed Beef.
With this whole COVID-19 thing happening, I’ve been sampling with more and more seafood on the grill, and have become quite the whiz with the grill basket that makes it easy to wrap up fish in foil and flip it without worrying about the fish falling apart. So while this whole stay at home order in Florida has been pretty miserable, I’ve made the best of it by learning some new skills, and of course, incorporating FlavorGod!
I’m still learning where to use certain flavors, and what sort of dishes to make with them, but with the range I have here, from Nacho Cheese, Pizza, Buffalo, Hot Wings, Taco Tuesday, and probably my early favorite – Ranch, there is no shortage of ideas that come to mind.
I’m already excited to use the FlavorGod Taco Tuesday seasoning in my taco meat, whether it be chicken, beef, bison, turkey, or even some sort of Beyond or Impossible plant based protein. I really don’t care what sort of taco meat I use, as long as I have good fixin’s and seasoning!
Flavor God is Zero Calorie!
My favorite part about FlavorGod seasonings is the fact that they are calorie free! Whether you get one of the seasonings, which taste like salt, without the sodium, or one of the sweeter ones designed for fruits or oatmeal, you can rest assured you are getting a much healthier option when compared to Lawry’s Seasoned Salt or any other type of sodium-rich seasoning. Any men out there who are aging (I am about to turn 42 at the time of writing this) know that monitoring blood pressure is a serious thing, and enjoying food with seasoning, but without the sodium, is a key way to watch those blood pressure numbers.
Flavor God Recipes
I’m currently using my new order and trying different recipes. I’ll be back soon with some of my favorite picks and will let you know what I’ve come up with as far as uses for FlavorGod seasoning.
In the mean time, if you have any suggestions or recipes to share, leave a comment below, we’d love to hear them!
