While the whisky listed below won’t fit in everyone’s (or anyone’s, in most cases) budget, it’s fun to take a look at what are the priciest bottles in this manly category. Top 3 Most Expensive Scotch Whiskies

These are the big three, the highest prices ever obtained at public auction for a bottle of scotch. It can be predicted that these are sold at even higher prices on the shadow markets.

Dalmore 64 Trinitas (1946)

This bottle formerly held the world record at $160,000 sale at auction. If you are a bit of a linguist, you might notice the use of “Trinita” in it’s name and can deduce that only three bottles of this were ever made. That kind of rarity will surely drive up the price.

This scotch was made from the final contents of a barrel from the Dalmore 62, its precursor at this producer. After blending it with a 1940’s vintage scotch, this beauty was made.

The Dalmore 64 sold at auction in 2010 and holds the distinction of being the first to sell for six figures. It also included a drawing where one lucky attendee got to sample the batch. That’s one expensive sample!

Macallan’s Lalique Cire Perdue (1946)

Macallan wowed everyone at auction with this bottle that sold for $460,000 in 2010, at which it was considered a “bargain” if you can believe it! Selling after the aforementioned Dalmore 64, this bottle held the world record for most expensive at the time.

This comes in a floral patterned carved-glass decanter unlike any bottle you’ve seen before, it looks like it came out of the Victorian era or something. Take a look at it below.

Macallan “M” (1940)

Owning the top two spots on this list is Macallan, with their “M” that sold for a whopping $631,850 in 2014. Why such a high price? In one word – quality. This is the finest of the fine.

It is a single-malt that has been matured (which is the reason for the “M”) for more than 70 years. For reference, any of the “fine” scotch you’re sipping on is most likely aged 25 years. With an age of 70 years, this is a rare bottle and is certainly being enjoyed by whoever the lucky (and obviously wealthy) purchaser is.

Best Colognes for Men

Sometimes it seems like it can be hard for a guy to differentiate himself from the crowd. Sure you can change your hair, or your sense of style, but we all kinda just look like “guys”. There aren’t a ton of ways to separate yourself and create your own unique sense of style when it comes to attracting the opposite sex. But one way to do so, and that is often overlooked, is with your scent.

This is also apparently a turn on for women as well, as it is frequently rated highly among women when asked what can be attractive in a man – even higher than their hair or body or face or the clothes they wear. So of course you can stick to a healthy regimen of keeping clean by showering and taking care of your skin with something like RSVP Skin Care, but an even better way to further add to a great scent is cologne.

This isn’t groundbreaking news, but like I said it is often overlooked by men. Who buys cologne often? Personally speaking, I think that every cologne I own I was given as a gift over the holidays by my mom over the years. I feel like I’m not alone in this, so I did a little searching around to find the best colognes for men as rated by women to take the guesswork out of it.

Different Types of Cologne

First, let’s get into detail on the different types of cologne. There are three different kinds, in simple terms – perfume, eau de toilette, and cologne. The differentiation between these three is what concentration of perfume extract is in each of them. Perfume has 15-40% pure perfume extract and is the least diluted and therefore the most expensive. It is slightly thicker than other colognes and is very strong, and should be dabbed on instead of sprayed on. Eau de toilette is more diluted at 4-15% concentration and contains more alcohol. Because of this, it doesn’t last as long and may require reapplication through the day. This is the most common type. Lastly, cologne is 2-4% perfume extract and is the most diluted.

So which one is the best? That all depends on your own preferences. For some, a stronger scent that will stay all day is preferable, so they go with a perfume. For others, they want something that’s not very overpowering so they go with a cologne. For others, a happy medium is wanted, and eau de toilette is for them. It’s all up to you. And if you can’t decide, take your girl shopping with you and let her pick up what she would want to smell on you.

How to Pick Out a Cologne

There are a few simple tips in picking out the right cologne for you. The first is to look at the average ratings they receive. This can easily be done on Amazon and other shopping sites. Specifically look for those with lots of reviews so you have a more trusted rating.

The second tip is to buy based on the scent that you like (or what you woman likes to smell on you). Never buy it based on what the bottle looks like. Don’t fall for marketing gimmicks – you can’t wear the bottle.

Lastly, the third tip comes in the buying process — always check the price of larger bottles as they can be more cost-efficient. Always do your shopping online as it will undoubtedly be cheaper than buying at the mall or department store. You can window shop at a brick and mortar store and see what scent you like, but ultimately make the order online. Furthermore, always buy from a reputable store like Amazon or similar.

Cologne Recommendations

Personally, I’m an eau de toilette guy, and I have a few recommendations in that category. First off is Eternity Aqua from Calvin Klein with its subtle, refreshing scent. It’s around $70 on Amazon. For something most cost-friendly in this category, check out Seductive by Guess for around $20 as it has a great scent at an unbeatable price. For something in between those two, I highly recommend 1 Million by Paco Rabanne for $58 with its leather, mandarin and peppermint scent. My girlfriend picked this one out for me and we both love it!

To sum it all up, your scent is a big deal and is not to be overlooked. It can make a great first impression on a women and frankly it just feels better when you smell nice. Use the tips above and you can’t go wrong with picking out your signature scent to go with your unmatched fashion sense.

How to Write a Good Two Weeks Notice Letter

So you’ve decided to leave your current job and need to let your boss know that you’ll be moving on. Congratulations on your new endeavor at the next place! There are a number of reasons why you’ll be leaving, including relocating to a new city or state, moving on to a better job elsewhere, or you’re just plain unhappy with your current position.

But before you go, you have to let your current company know of your departure. This is something that needs to be handled with the utmost professionalism so you don’t burn any bridges and leave your job on a high note. No matter how you felt about the company or who you worked for, it should be dealt with grace and respect and gratitude for your employment at the company.

Writing a Two Weeks Notice Letter

The most common way to signal your resignation from your job is in the form of a two weeks notice letter. Sometimes you may want to give even more of a heads-up than two weeks, but this is the standard timeframe and it should not be any shorter than this. This provides the company with time to figure out how to replace you and start seeking someone new for your position, or find ways to shuffle people around to cover your responsibilities.

Why should you write a two weeks notice letter? There are a couple reasons. First, it will more likely lead to a better reference from this employer in the future if it should be needed at some time. You don’t want to flee out of there on bad terms and not be able to use your employer in the future at other job interviews when they ask about your employment history. Secondly, this letter will be permanently in your file at the employer as part of your record, and it is a nice official document to have in there as part of your tenure there, providing closure to your employment.

So how do you go about writing this letter? It’s pretty easy if you follow a few simple tips. The first is to keep it short and sweet. All it needs to do is serve as a formal announcement of your resignation of your position. You don’t need to ramble on about why you’re leaving. Really, you’re just looking to have this go in your file as official closure to your employment. You can discuss the “why” in person with your superiors. It doesn’t need to go into the letter itself.

Secondly, it should state the details of your resignation. It should contain the fact that you are resigning, first of all. Next it should provide the timeline of your departure. In the most common case, it is two weeks, but if it is longer than that (one month, two months, etc.), provide the official last day of your employment so everyone is aware and it can go in the official record. Additionally, it should outline the steps to be taken as part of the transition process. Offer to help your employer find someone to replace you and train them for your position, provided they have enough time to find that person. Lastly, don’t forget to thank them for your time there.

Above all, be positive with your tone, even if it wasn’t your favorite place to work. Again, this goes back to having this employer on your side later on if they are needed as a reference.

At the end of the letter, sign it and date it to close the letter properly and make it more formal. This is an official document in your employee file, so make it look official and professional.

That’s all there really is to it, so use these as a guideline whenever the situation arises in your professional life. Also, don’t forget to take a little time off between jobs – spend some time traveling or enjoying your hobbies!

How to Order a Martini

Whenever you hear someone ordering a martini, doesn’t it sound like they are speaking in a foreign language? There is so much nuance and specification and customization to it, it really could be a science. You know what you heard was English, but you really have no clue what they just said to the bartender or waitstaff.

 

What the heck do they mean? Well to a first timer that may seem like a confusing order, but if you know what you’re doing there’s a great pleasure in ordering a fine martini. Follow along below and pretty soon you’ll be ordering a martini like a pro and impressing others with your fancy order.

Ordering a Martini

There are a few things to know to order this drink like a boss. First you need to know what a martini is. A martini may sound like a complicated cocktail, but it really just comes down to gin, vermouth and an olive. You can check out Drizly for all these things if you want to try this cocktail at home.

A bartender makes this cocktail by pouring gin and vermouth over ice and stirring it gently. After that, they strain the mixture and pour it into a martini glass. Finish it off with an olive and there you have it – a classic, simple martini.

There’s nothing more to it than that really, and if you want to keep things simple the first time you order one you could just ask for a Bombay Sapphire Martini, with an olive, stirred. They’ll know what you’re talking about and you won’t make a fool of yourself.

But what do dirty, dry, shaken and stirred mean? There’s lingo to it and I’ll let you know what they all mean. First there is the difference between a wet and dry martini. This is simply a factor of how much vermouth is in it. If a martini is dry, it has less vermouth in it. Bone dry means just a drop or two. Vice versa for a wet martini. The vermouth (a fortified wine with flavored herbs) is a sweet taste, so the wetter your cocktail is the sweeter it is. Between wet and dry, there is also the option of nothing, which gets you the standard five parts gin to one part vermouth.

Now what is a dirty martini? Dirty means that olive juice or brine has been added to it. When the olive brine is added, it gives the cocktail a cloudy, hazy look and adds a salty zest to the drink. However, this also masks the taste of the alcohol, and is generally thought of as a rookie or introduction martini.

Furthermore, there are the options of shaken and stirred. You know that 007 likes his “shaken, not stirred”, but what does that mean for the cocktail? If you ask for it shaken, the mixture will be put in a cocktail shaker and shaken and then strained into a martini glass. You can probably guess that stirred means that the mixture is stirred and then strained, and not put in a shaker. The rule of thumb is that a shaken martini should be for anything with juice or brine added (a dirty martini), while a more standard martini should be stirred.

Also, there are the garnishes. You can add an olive, which is self explanatory. You can also ask for it with a twist, which means you’ll get a thin twisted lemon peel added as a garnish. This is all up to personal taste. Personally I think adding a twist is akin to having a little umbrella in a girly drink, so I’d skip it.

He even agreed to answer a series of questions I put together to get some real nuggets about the founding and the driving force behind the PlaneSwing company.

What I got right away, is that Tony is intimately involved in every aspect of the company, and considers it a family business. He started the company, invented their premier product, goes around the world marketing it, and will even reply to support questions. If you’ve got a problem (not many of those) or a question about the PlaneSwing- chances are that Tony will be the one answering you directly. He and his dedicated support staff will do whatever is necessary to make sure you are happy with your purchase.

 

In my Q&A with Tony, he goes into the evolution of the current swing plane trainer. As Tony explains,

Why Thanksgiving Eve is the Biggest Drinking Night of the Year

Another holiday season is upon us, and it’s a great time for all this week. Of course we have Thanksgiving tomorrow (as of the time of this writing) and all of the great deals coming our way on Black Friday and Cyber to get all those things men buy. But if you ask me, the best day of this week is today, or rather I should say tonight. Yes, Blackout Wednesday is here!

What’s Blackout Wednesday? It’s the term for Thanksgiving Eve, the night before Thanksgiving, and it’s one of the biggest drinking days of the year. Why is that? Here’s a number of reasons why it’s such a big night at the bars and why you should partake this year.

For one, nobody works the next day. Of course, there are certain industries where you have to work on holidays, but for the most part, nobody is waking up to go to the office the following morning. So what better opportunity to go out with your friends and family and have a few drinks and enjoy yourself? It’s like having a weekend night in the middle of the week and you can drink with no regrets.

Another reason why it’s such a great night to get out is because of all the familiar faces you’ll see. If you are headed home for the holidays, one of the best things is going to the local bar you used to frequent and seeing all of your old friends you haven’t seen in a while. Of course, this is a double-edged sword if you run into an old friend you’d rather not see. And if you’re staying in town for the holiday, you’re surely not the only one so call up your friends and meet up at your favorite place.

With all the commotion the following day, Thanksgiving Eve is a great night to let loose before the storm hits the next day. You know you have to get up to brine the turkey the next day and prepare whatever other dishes you’re responsible for. So put that off your mind for just a little bit and unwind at the bar. Call it the calm before the storm, but in all likelihood the night will be anything but calm.

Lastly, there is another great reason why Blackout Wednesday is the perfect night for throwing back some drinks. Of course, after a long night of drinking there is the inevitable hangover the next day. But the best part is you have a built-in hangover cure the next day with a huge meal, lots of wine and other drinks. Hair of the dog!

Best Ugly Christmas Sweaters

It’s that time of year again, where you throw on your best ugly Xmas sweater and toss back some drinks with your friends and celebrate the holiday season. If you’ve been on this site before, you’ll know I prominently showcase Tipsy Elves sweaters on the homepage as they’re my go-to source for this festive time of year. They always have something great that will surely give your family and friends a great life at this year’s party.

So without further adieu, here are some of the best sweaters I found for your Ugly Christmas Party this year. There’s some real winners in there and I haven’t yet decided what I’m going to show up in.

Best Ugly Xmas Sweaters for 2016

For this first one, I have to start off with an homage to my favorite Christmas movie, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. My family and I make it a point to watch it together every time we get together for the holidays, and it never gets old. This is a good buy for any year. This sweater features everyone’s favorite Cousin Eddie in one of his classic scenes from this treasure of a movie. If you can’t go full Eddie and wear his robe and bomber hat and cigar to your party this year, you can at least sport him on your sweater.

It wouldn’t be a list of the top sweaters for 2016 if I didn’t include something topical from the year, right? Above you’ll see the genius creation of a Ken Bone Christmas sweater and it was glorious. Ken won us all over during the second presidential debate and now he can help you won over some fans at your party this year. How can you top a sweater featuring a picture of a guy wearing a sweater? I love this, it’s near the top of my list!

Staying with current events of 2016, I bring you the R.I.P. Harambe Xmas sweater. It’s the time of year to look back at the year that was and remember those we lost. We lost a good one when poor Harambe was taken far too soon. Goodnight, sweet prince. He is gone but not forgotten. Show your remembrance of this great ape by proudly sporting him at your annual party and you’ll be the talk of the night. I’d proudly hang this gem on the wall in my man cave when I’m not wearing it.

They are really nailing it in capturing the fads of this year. Above you’ll see the iconic Christmas light display as seen on the wall in Stranger Things, the breakout series on Netflix in 2016. Bonus points if you can somehow hook up some real Xmas lights on it and communicate with the rest of your party with it. What message would you send? (I recommend “Shitter’s full” or “Dicks out for Harambe”).

Lastly, I have to work some low brow humor in here. Most of my sweaters of years past have had some vulgarity to them, so this one shown above is another I’m considering for this year. It’s pretty self-explanatory and I love it.

Best Bars to Meet Women

I hadn’t really read Maxim since I was a high schooler or even a college student, I was subscriber back then when that magazine was fresh and new and worth looking at. I had largely forgotten about it until I came across a post on their site the other day that was talking about the 41 Best Bars in America to Meet Women. Curious, I took a look.

Without even first reading the article, the title itself was a little troublesome considering it lists 41 bars, so not every geographic locale would be covered. I imagined that most of the bars would be centralized in certain areas — a bunch of New York bars, Chicago bars, Los Angeles, etc., with a scattering of bars spread out elsewhere. Given that I live in the Fort Lauderdale / Miami area, I figured there may be a bar or two near me to enjoy some adult beverages in the company of single women, but not every reader will have something on this list close to them.

The methodology used was by taking feedback from women on Foursquare, further saying the respondents are likely “sophisticated, tech savvy and highly attractive (probably).” I’m unsure of this methodology and would like to see a similar list comprised by the opinions of men. They could also take data into account, such as locales that have a higher ratio, population-wise, of women to men, increasing your odds to find single women.

As I started clicking through the gallery, I was surprised that it listed (they aren’t in particular ranking order) bars in Alaska, Iowa, Connecticut, etc., so there goes my assertion of it being made up of highly populated, urban areas. They have a range of bars from those where you’ll find “party animals” to  “music lovers” to “cocktails and fine dining”, and also those for the younger crowd and older crowd.

Overall, it was fun clicking through the gallery  and seeing the different kinds of bars out there that women are claiming are the best place to meet a lady. There was one Miami bar for me to check out, and a number of others I can add to my list when I’m traveling.

One of the first cassettes I ever bought was the single for “Dre Day” by Dr. Dre featuring Snoop Dogg. I was like 9 years old, went to the mall with my family and when we stopped in to Sam Goody my brother was like “Dave, you should get this.”

I didn’t really know who he was nor heard the song before, but of course we convinced our parents to get it for us. We popped it in the cassette player of our family minivan on the way home and I can still remember cackling in the backseat as they sang “bow wow wow, yippie yo yippie yay, Death Row’s in the muthafuckin’ house!” That put an end to listening to that in the car again.

Anyway, I still love Dre and when I listen to him it’s still stuff from The Chronic era. That’s how I’ll always remember him. So I was shocked when I came across some photos of him lately and hardly recognized the Dre I knew from before. He is buff now! I tried to find a photo of Dr. Dre shirtless, but below is best I could do.

Dr. Dre buff! It doesn’t even look like the same person. He was never really overweight or skinny, just kind of looked like a normal build in the past, but he is massive now. His changed physique has a lot of internet commenters speculating that he is using unnatural means to get to that size. Dr. Dre steroids? I don’t know. With all the money he has made with Beats by Dre in the past years, plus all of the rapping and producing he’s done for decades, he can certainly afford to put some time in the gym with a top personal trainer and get the body you see above.

Carrot Top Before and After Photos

While he’s not my cup of tea when it comes to stand-up comedy, you gotta hand it to Carrot Top for the longevity he’s had in the comic scene. I was born in the early 80’s and I can’t remember a time when he wasn’t around, popping up on late night shows like Leno or Letterman. While he hasn’t had the mass appeal like other comedians with a television series or successful movies, he’s carved out a nice place for himself with his prop humor and self-deprecating style.

I’ll always remember him as an awkward, lanky redhead. I was shocked when I came across some recent photos of him now. For one, he’s seriously gotten some work done in the plastic surgery department. Take a look at Carrot Top before and after photos below.

Looking beyond just the eyeliner or mascara (I’m a guy, I don’t know what to call it) he’s wearing around his eyes, you can see huge differences that are signs of obvious work done. Many are speculating he’s had (at the minimum) a brow lift, botox injections and even laser resurfacing treatments. His skin is much tighter, there’s no sagging or wrinkles like you’d expect from someone in their 50’s. You can’t use an eye serum to get that much lift in your brow! You can see his progression through the years in the photo collage below.

It’s not just his face where we’ve seen some drastic changes in his appearance. From the neck down he’s completely a different man as well. Gone is the skinny guy we used to know, and he’s been replaced with the body of a Greek God. A comedian with a net worth as high as his could pay for a top trainer to reach this type of physique. However, there’s chatter on the internet that, like with his face, he may be using some artificial enhancements in this area as well. Take a look below and you be the judge.

For the record, Carrot Top has denied ever taking steroids. From what I’ve read he has neither confirmed nor denied getting plastic surgery. Oh well, you do you, Carrot Top!

October Road Trippin to Vegas & Orlando

Hey Gang!  So far, this fall has been non-stop action, and I’m just here to recap it the best that I can.

First off, I’d like to say that what a damn blessing it is that football is back in full effect.  My Vikings are 3-0, and that’s without Teddy Bridgewater at Quarterback and Adrian Peterson playing only week one and half of week two!  This team is for real, and the defense is off the chain.  I was fortunate enough to go to the Packers game, the home opener at the new US Bank Stadium, which was an event I’ll never forget.  I even bought this sweet jersey and the dude only went off for 180+ yards.  #stud.

Every October, me and a group of friends from college, along with new friends we’ve met since college, visit Las Vegas, and pretty much do the most for a few days.  It was always a Thursday – Sunday thing, but over time we’ve expanded the trip to add a few days to it.  We all have our reasons, but let’s just say that this is “our time,” to make a very ill-timed Goonies reference.

As I write this, I’m literally on the plane, somewhere around Texas.  It sure feels like a long flight, and it is.  From Miami, it’s about five hours.  But hey, you gotta sack up if you want to have fun, right?  It sure is a lot closer to go to Costa Rica, but the whole landscape is different.  Food is the absolute bomb in Vegas, and you know, Casinos just don’t cheat like they do in Central America.

So anyway, as I write this on a Saturday, I get a few days to relax and work before my friends arrive.

When I return, I head right up to Orlando, where I’m speaking at an Internet Marketing event called “OMG Live.”  I present on the topic of affiliate marketing, which is something very near and dear to me.  I can’t wait to see old friends and meet new ones.

Sometimes you have to just say thanks for all your life has given you.  I’m very blessed, and humbled.

My Latest Under Armour Shopping Spree

So here is what I bought recently on UnderArmour.com.  Be sure to click that link not to visit their website, but to check out my entire brand review where I talk about everything that I have bought there.  There are also some blurbs from friends of mine up North who have experienced some of the cold weather gear that I don’t have to use down here in Florida, fortunately.

So here is what I just bought.  It’s a mix of stuff for me (the shirt obviously) and my girlfriend.  She loves the pants, so I always make sure she has the newest stuff they make.

 

I still haven’t bought any of the Steph Curry UA gear I talked about earlier this year.  It looks pretty cool.  I noticed they had a new shirt that had to be inspired by Curry. I had a graphic that insinuated “raining threes.”  That’s on my wish list.

Other than shopping online, August is shaping up to be a busy month.  Work is kicking my ass, as many people are gearing up for the fall and booking their advertising and hiring me for SEO services as well as my affiliate marketing mentoring program.  I’m going to be doing some traveling as well, which is something I love to do.  I’m slated to meet up with some business contacts in Costa Rica, which if you hadn’t read this entry, is a great place to have a bachelor party!  Really, it is.  There are strip clubs, bars, casinos, sports books.  Need I say more?  Oh, and it’s set among a posh setting.  Pretty slick, and pretty affordable too.   Las Vegas is so played out and expensive for bachelor parties, although I had one there too!

Speaking of Las Vegas, I am most likely heading there in August to wrap up Summer right before my son makes his way back to school on August 22nd.

So, August is going to be a pretty busy month. I’ll post a review of the shirt I bought above in the UA review page.  I’ll also do my best to update you on any cool stuff that happens during my traveling this month. It’s going to be a grind, but hey, that’s what I like – pressure.

Wow, just in time for me to get in shape, which is a recurring theme this year, lol.

They are also having a sale on certain items.  I saw items up to 30% off.  I’m definitely going to be taking advantage of this and buying a lot of goods for the upcoming Fall Season.  If you don’t know my love for Under Armour brand of clothing and apparel, I urge you to read my UA clothing review.  I also have big coupons in there that will get you free shipping and much, much more.

I shop this brand, even over Nike.  I loved Nike Dri Fit but never really found it comparable once Under Armour launched. In my book, they took center stage and really did the most for me.

Just an update on my New Years Resolutions, for what it’s worth.

I’m down 11-14 pounds, depending on when I weigh in.  Typically I indulge during the weekends, like most people out there. I work hard, and I play hard.  I like to golf, which is why I secured a nice partnership with Greg Norman and have some great shirts that I personally review if you hit that link.   I’m really taking the gym more seriously, and incorporating more weight training than cardio these days, and I’m seeing a nice effect in my body composition.  You see, I thought cardio alone would help me lose weight, but it’s a balance between diet, lifting weights, and doing cardio.  The cardio alone won’t do it or you’ll get “skinny fat,” as people say.  I definitely don’t want to be “skinny fat” and will do about anything to make sure that I can look good and more importantly, feel good.  Feeling good is the utmost important thing about living, because without energy, what do we have?  We are tired, groggy, and worthless if we don’t have energy.

So far, so good.  At the halfway point of this year I’m on a nice trend.  I need to be more cognizant of the blog and updating things more frequently, but that will come.  I have a lot of new initiatives and those take up time.  We’re still getting revved up here, and we’re about to turn one year old!  That’s a big thing and I’m looking forward to having this site for a very long time.

I sure hope not.  This is perhaps the most gifted wide receiver since the Vikings took a shot on a well known, yet troubled receiver named Randy Moss.  Moss happens to be my favorite football player of all time, and as a Vikings fan, the days of Cunningham to Moss and Carter, and then Culpepper to Moss, rank up there with my all time favorite days to tune in on any given Sunday.  I could literally tune in, watch the Vikings put up 40+ points, and celebrate by lighting up a cigar.  (Currently I buy cigars at Famous-Smoke.com.)

Beckham has the same electrifying talent that Randy Moss had, yet now he’s truly gone Hollywood if he’s indeed dating Khloe Kardashian.

Odell, RUN. 

I repeat, RUN.

Let’s look at what’s happened with people who have fallen into this trap and dated the sexy starlets that Hollywood can’t get enough of.

I’m sure I’ll miss out on MANY of the men this family has ruined, but I’m going to rip off some the ones that I remember from recent memory.

There is fellow Minnesotan Kris Humphries, whose one month (or whatever it was – it was short) marriage to Kim Kardashian was the world’s most covered event at the time.  While Kris seems to have moved on and is out of the spotlight (and still making millions – good for you Hump), it’s not forgotten and he’s not a Star player.  Certainly, he had to get some ridicule for that short stint of being in the media non-stop and in the Kardashian circus.

Next, you have Scott Disick, who is the Father of Kourtney’s boys.  This guy has been in and out of rehab about as much as any rock star I’ve followed.  This poor guy has had to sit through countless Kardashian dinner’s and get ribbed by even Bruce – err – Caitlyn Jenner.  I mean, how low can you possibly go?  I always liked Scott because he’s somewhat of a rebel and I feel for him.  He lost his parents to different causes in a very short span.  The guy has gone through a lot, but perhaps nothing more stressful than dealing with the Kardashian circus on a daily basis.

James Harden dated Khloe last year and led the Houston Rockets in scoring and was an MVP candidate before Stephan Curry got hot and took it from him.  Fast forward a year and while still dating Khloe, his team failed miserably and is pretty much dismantling all of it’s pieces.  Harden is far from the player he was a year ago and if I had to guess, it’s all because of Khloe!

James, I’m still cheering for you. I love the beard and the swagger you possess. Please defy odds and come back to be the player you were before.

Lastly, and probably most infamously, we have Lamar Odom.  This poor man, an ex Miami Heat and Los Angeles Laker star player, was literally driven to the limits of drug abuse.  Married to Khloe, he was found clinging to life after an experience at a Nevada brothel.  This was all while going through a divorce with Khloe, who briefly table the divorce in order to care for Lamar.

All in all, I can’t find a happy ending here.  I’m trying, Odell, but I can’t find one.  If you truly want to be a Hall of Fame caliber player and continue the amazing pace you are on, stay far away from this family.

Here’s to hoping the reported hook-up (thanks TMZ) was just that, and nothing long term.  Otherwise, he may be perusing my reviews of survival gear.  Let’s hope not!
