It’s officially Summer, and that means it’s time to hit the pool in a major way! We’ve had all sorts of pool toys, accessories, games, and more, so this Summer I wanted to make a splash with something different. I invested in a “hangout chair,” aptly named because I’ve found myself hanging out in this amazing lounger quite a bit lately. The brand that makes it is called “Bote,” and you’ll hear all about their amazing products in this Bote Hangout chair review.
What is the Bote Inflatable Hangout Chair?
This is pitched as “an Adirondack chair that floats,” and I could not agree more. This inflatable lounge chair by Bote just needs to be inflated and coupled with a cold beverage. I suggest the Voodoo Ranger Pool Party but you can choose your own poison!
Impressive packaging usually means there is a solid company behind the product. In the case of Bote, that was the case!
We have Adirondack chairs lining our pool, and now, in our pool! If you’ve ever been a fan of lounging in an Adirondack chair, this is your inflatable version of that without all the bulk. This chair inflates and deflates within minutes and rolls up easily into the included Mesh Carry Sling so you can take it to a pool party, the beach, the lake, or wherever you choose to float!
The Bote Inflatable lounge chair is the best way to stay cool on scorching hot days. In Florida, this is an absolute MUST, and ironically, the item is made by a local Broward County company.
When I opened up the thick, professionally designed and manufactured packaging, I was immediately impressed. I would compare this packaging to Yeti, as no detail was spared and the thought that went into the messaging, colors, and presentation is something you really only see with luxury watches. This brand put a TON of effort into their brand image, and spared no expense with customer satisfaction along the way. They have a full YouTube channel with how to videos for not only the Bote Hangout Chair, but for all of their Bote products.
This brand may not be a house hold name yet, but it will be.
What I Like About the Bote Hangout Chair
This product is extremely durable. It’s made of military grade PVC and it can easily handle being tossed in the back of my Bronco and be taken for a ride. You can bang it around and have it about anywhere without worrying too much about the look of it being tarnished.
It’s also very easy to assemble. I pulled it out of the box, admired all of the included accessories (like the repair kit, mesh carry bag, docklink connectors, and hand pump), and after I connected the hand pump to the two valves and pumped them up, it was ready for the water! My girlfriend used it first, and let’s just say I had to wait a couple hours to enjoy my new toy!
What I Dislike About the Inflatable Hangout Chair
Other than the $299 price tag, nothing! Yes, that may be steep, but compared to pool floats and rafts I constantly have to replace due to wear and tear, or downright just breaking entirely, the price makes sense. I’ve spent over $100 on pool rafts and once they pop, they are done. So when you think about it, it’s fair, although I know some people may disagree.

In my always humble opinion, this is the Summer’s best new pool toy! If you spend any time in your pool or lake, this is a MUST HAVE. We’ve spent hours on this just relaxing, and it’s been an absolute game changer for us. After a long day of work and play, this is the perfect way to relax and float in style.
